Finding new business opportunities can sometimes expose you to how fellow 'professionals' can be so rude. I've thankfully come across nearly all who politely turn down our services, that is professional and how business should be.
Today, I came across a consultant who confirmed he has launched his own website. I took a look at his website and honestly suggested he could have it improved to look more professional. His words were "You would think that because you're only after money" and then removed our connection. Rude. I offer all my prospective clients a chance to see a concept design of their website, to see how it can be revamped to look more professional. It is free and no obligation to proceed. Just say "No thanks". That is being professional.
